Aren’t I the lucky one?

I was invited to what was billed as a stylish lunchtime banquet yesterday at Jupiter Hotel & Casino’s newest foodie oasis – the Garden Kitchen & Bar – and it turns out, that description was more than apt!

The new venue forms part of a $345 million transformation at Jupiter’s and they say it blurs the lines between indoors and out, inviting guests to experience an eclectic mix of contemporary furnishings, cascading greenery and a generous dining area bathed in natural light.

With this picture in my head, I certainly wasn’t disappointed; and by the atmosphere in the room, I would say my fellow garden party attired event-goers agreed with me!

Fresh, seasonal produce was served amidst the very best in design that truly brought the outdoor in, and I am looking forward to bringing my friends and family here again in the future in one of the various spaces available which include a semi-private dining room for those more intimate occasions, an indoor bar, and a sun-drenched deck which overlooks the expansive lawn area and lush tropical gardens. I think we will try the deck first!

When it came to my lens, there was plenty to catch my photographic eye. Stylish table settings, grinning guests, the open kitchen, and the surrounding greenery coupled with the natural light certainly kept my camera snapping away throughout the banquet – I had to remind myself to eat!

I sure am glad that I did too because the food was beautiful. I enjoyed the Seared Tasmanian Salmon followed by Honeycomb Cheesecake and in my opinion, the chefs working so hard in our full view are certainly talented!
